ÍS-TAL: Corpus of Spoken Icelandic
A joint project of seven researchers from three institutions (the
Institute of Lexicography
, the
University of Iceland
, and the
Iceland University of Education
). The goal of the project was to establish a corpus of spoken Icelandic containing approximately 20 hours of naturally occurring conversations. The project was funded by the Icelandic Technical Fund and finished in 2000. For further information contact
