A Shallow Parser for Icelandic
is a cooperative project between
Eiríkur Rögnvaldsson

Hrafn Loftsson
and
Sigrún Helgadóttir
and is a part of Hrafn's research for his doctoral dissertation. The goal of the project is to use finite-state methods to perform shallow parsing of Icelandic texts according to a specially designed parsing scheme. The project is funded by the
Icelandic Research Fund
